SPIDER WEB

Living in a tropical country like Philippines has earned me wearing shorts and cotton tops most of the time specially on weekends. So before I would tag myself "becoming a bore" I chose interesting pieces like this spider web top to spice up my outfit somehow. Thoughts?

I'm the type who loves visiting parks. I'm glad we have beautiful and accessible parks here in Manila that when I  feel like want to breathe a hint of "pure oxygen", strolling in the park is on top of my to-do list.

This time, I together with my boyfriend chose to stroll in our very own National Park. Sharing with you some of my favorite spots here : the Flower clock and the Chinese Garden.

BLEW MY FUR

<a href="http://www.bloglovin.com/blog/4975071/?claim=dt2ecf7p7bh">Follow my blog with Bloglovin</a>
I was feeling blue one Saturday afternoon when I decided to wear this blue polo, blue -feathered -earrings and furred shoes .Good thing this pair of shoes wasn't blue because if it was, my skin would turn into bluish color (like those smurfs ) and I, would absolutely feel blue! lol It's just a joke! I'm just trying to make you laugh guys! :)
Well, after wearing those colors, I did not feel blue anymore because I know I would gain favor from my boyfriend's eyes (FYI blue is his fave color ):)
I considered this pair of  shoes as the winner in this outfit because I seldom see furred shoes on anyone. Besides, when those furs would accidentally touched my skin while walking, it gave a ticklish feeling that reminds me somehow that I'm wearing a different shoe and not my usual rubber shoes or doll shoes.

I hope you are having a great day! :)

GUESS IT

If I were to choose clothes which would stay for a very long time in my closet, I would definitely choose pieces like this : colorful, body fitting and ultra comfortable. If you are the conservative type of person, like me, this dress is a good choice. You are fully covered but still get that sexy look and feeling, agree?

A BACKPACKER'S RULE

If you noticed, I'm into knitted outfits in this trip. The reason? I wanted to enjoy exploring the city without worrying about wrinkled clothes. So, if you are planning to have a trip this coming vacation, opt for clothes that are wrinkle - free, colored or printed ( because it will look good on photos  :) ) and above all, one that makes you feel comfortable.  Clothes could affect the mood of its wearer, do you agree?

Grab a nice hat/cap also, it will protect your hair from the sun or rain. Moreover, it's a very good accessory specially when you're having a bad hair day.

Though I forgot to bring one, sunnies are a must have also, agree?

BLENDING IN

Wearing a floral polo with a background still full of blooming flowers is becoming an addiction towards flowers, agree?Or should I say redundant? In fact this was the second time already that I took a photo in this spot. It seems I just cant get  enough of those! lol

Don't you love these brightly colored sunflowers? I know they don't smell good but their looks just moved me to smell them..hhmmm! :))
Because I just can't get enough with the flowers in the park I convinced Benson  to visit the stores which were located at the back of the Burnham Park's Orchidarium. I only paid php 5.00 for unlimited shots with the flowers in their garden. It's really a good deal, agree? lol

I wish I could have a place like this in our garden at home. imagine yourself sleeping under a canopy of flowers! What do you think?

As I've told you in my other post, I wasn't able to capture a close up photo of the floral floats because I was on the wrong side of the street. So imagine how glad and excited I am when I saw this float parked at  the Athletic Bowl! lol

LET A THOUSAND FLOWERS BLOOM

Being in a rush  became a blessing in a disguise then when we went to Baguio. I wasn't able to pack my things ahead of time because of some work related issues and my sister's birthday party which I attended in the afternoon. So by the time we left the party, it's already past seven pm! You're right! seven pm was still early here in Manila but the problem was, we were confronted with the usual scenario: traffic! So as soon as we reached our apartment, I immediately packed my things with only a few things on my mind to bring on the trip. The result? Traveling with a light package! :)

I'm glad I brought the right clothes in this trip. This colorful knitted dress makes me feel cuddled and warm against the cold weather in the city. It made me feel a couple of times excited with the festival as well. Well, blame the colors of this dress, okay? lol!

Because I am a woman, the presence of flowers blooming freely in the park was such an attention catcher that I cannot help taking photos as much as I want! lol  I'm happy that Baguio's Burnham Park was full of flowering plants that makes my photos interesting and almost picture perfect.

It really feels good to be surrounded with colorful and fresh flowers more so because it complements with the color of my dress.

With the huge crowd that went to the City of Pines to witness the popular Flower Festival, those simple things like strolling in the park, going in the washroom and ordering foods in fastfoods or restaurants  already consumed a large portion of our time.

We had our lunch and siesta-time in a sidewalk near the parking area because as I've said those restaurants and fast foods were literally full of customers.

Of course we maximize our stay so we did some tourist-y things like visiting some of Baguio's Tourist spots (I'll share with you in my next post ) and boating in the Burnham Park lake.

A BLOOMING ODYSSEY

I'm glad I was able to experience for the first time  the fun that Baguio celebrates that day. To those of you wondering, Panagbenga is an annual event that celebrates the "blooming" of flowers. Panagbenga's theme for 2013 is A Blooming Odyssey.

Benson and I chose to go on the 23rd of February because the highlight of the event The Grand Float Parade was on the next day.

We arrived in the City of Pines at dawn and a lot people were already on the sidewalks with their mats to sit on while waiting for the parade while others slept on the streets or built their tents on the park. Moreover, most of the hotels were already fully book which left us to carry our baggage. Really,  the Panagbenga Festival is so popular that it receive a huge media.

Then the long awaited parade began. Unfortunately I was on the wrong side of the street that limits me to watch in  full view of the parade or to take good shots on the floats. Benson and I, together with the people on our side were so disappointed! Probably partly disappointed. :) Anyway, the vacant lane was to be used  for emergency purposes. Despite the inconvenience,I still managed to capture some photos to share with you. I hope you will enjoy! :))

Suddenly the crowd became wild as the succeeding floats appeared with our country's Mr. Pure Energy: Gary Valenciano and the "Bad Boy of Philippine Movies : Robin Padilla.
I hope you enjoyed viewing the photos! :)
